纪录片《Sculpting Thoughts思想者的对话》即将全球同步上线

The documentary Sculpting Thoughts, produced under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, presented by Xinhua Daily Media Group, and produced by JiangsuNow International Communication Center, is set for a global release.

When ancient sculpture meets artificial intelligence, where will art go? In the ongoing dialogue between civilizations, how do we truly listen and understand?

This bilingual documentary follows the quest of Shang Rong, Chairman of the Jiangsu Sculptors Association. The journey spans historically rich cities from Beijing and Nanjing to Athens, Rome, and Venice. Through dialogues with pivotal figures—including the renowned sculptor Wu Weishan, Ms. Victoria ZYGOUROU, Director of the Athens Municipal Art Gallery, and Chiara Squarcina, Scientific Director of the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia—the film delves into the convergence of Eastern and Western thought. It vividly interprets the essence of Chinese civilization embodied in its sculptural art and showcases a contemporary landscape of mutual learning among cultures.

Shared vision bridges vast distances. This past autumn, sculptors from Jiangsu traveled to Greece for a profound exchange through a dedicated exhibition. Innovation transcends boundaries. China's media and arts community jointly launched the "Global Youth Cyber Sculpture Program", galvanizing young artists worldwide.

A pivotal dialogue about art, civilization, and the future is now beginning. Stay tuned.

中英双语纪录片《思想者的对话》以江苏省雕塑家协会主席尚荣的追寻之旅为主线，镜头跟随其脚步，赴北京、南京、淮安、雅典、罗马、威尼斯等多座底蕴深厚的城市，通过对话著名雕塑家吴为山、雅典市政府美术馆馆长、威尼斯市立博物馆馆长等重要文化机构负责人与学者，深入探讨东西方哲学思想的碰撞与交融，生动阐释中国雕塑艺术所承载的中华文明内涵，直观展现文明之间交流互鉴的当代图景。
